Green Acres Lawn Care

About Green Acres Lawn Care

Around Rancho Banquete the land runs flat to every horizon, and by early summer the grain sorghum in the fields west of Corpus Christi ripens to a deep rust red under a steady Gulf wind. Green Acres Lawn Care cuts and edges lawns across this Nueces County community, where that same wind dries the ground quickly and the day turns hot well before noon. A lawn on the coastal plain needs regular cutting to stay thick, and a trimmer run along the wire fence and a crisp edge on the drive keep it looking intentional against all that open country. Banquete takes its name from a celebratory feast held nearby long ago, and there is still something festive about a freshly mown yard at the end of a hot afternoon. Green acres, after all, are what every yard out here is hoping to become.
