Autumn in the Piney Woods is a slow, generous business — sweetgum going red, pine needles letting go a little at a time, yards filling up week after week. The Dels - Queen City works right through it, mowing while there is still growth and clearing what comes down so a lawn does not spend the winter smothered. The best part of a fall visit is the reveal: rake and blow the beds and walks clear, and the grass underneath turns out to have been fine all along. Mowing, edging, trimming, leaf and needle cleanup are offered in Queen City, Linden and Atlanta. Come the cool evenings, a cleared yard is where everyone ends up standing.
