About Augusta Blooms, Inc.

By the second week of April the bar ditches outside Princeton fill with bluebonnets and paintbrush, and every front yard in town seems to want the same idea for itself. Augusta Blooms, Inc. works that wish into the ordinary parts of a property — grass mowed to an even height, beds edged until the mulch line reads sharp against the turf, trimming kept tight around walks and flower borders. Spring here is generous and impatient at once, and a bed left untended in May disappears by June. Kept after, though, it frames a house the way a good margin frames a page. That is the pleasure of the work: the color gets the credit, and the edge does the holding.
