About King Ranch Turfgrass

Sunrise over the flat sandy fields around Poteet arrives without ceremony — one minute gray, the next everything gold and the dew lit up across the grass. King Ranch Turfgrass works from that hour: mowing, edging, trimming and turf upkeep on lawns across Atascosa County, with the clippings cleared before the crew moves on. Knowing turf means knowing when to cut and how low, and how a lawn on this soil answers in July versus after a spring soaking. A mowing height held steady week to week is what separates a lawn that merely gets cut from one that gets kept. What the neighbors notice is simpler: even color, sharp borders, and grass that looks glad to be there.
