About Barrientos Lawncare & Maintenance

West of Port Arthur the land gives up and turns to rice prairie, and in the last hour of daylight that flat country throws a long gold light back at the town. Barrientos Lawncare & Maintenance often finishes in that light, out around Port Acres, where the yards run wide and the St. Augustine grows thick. Mowing at the right height, edging the walks, cutting shrubs back and hauling off the trimmings — done on a schedule, it keeps a lawn ahead of the heat instead of chasing it. There is a satisfaction in the last pass of the day: the mower shut off, the grass standing even, the sidewalk swept, the evening coming on quiet.
