Emerald Lawns

About Emerald Lawns

April is the turn in Plano. Bermuda comes up out of straw-colored dormancy in about ten days, the redbuds along Spring Creek Parkway go purple, and every lawn in the city decides at once that it is time to grow. Emerald Lawns meets that green-up head on with mowing and edging on schedule, trimming, and the seasonal lawn care that carries a yard from its first cut into full summer. Handle spring properly and the rest of the north Texas year treats the grass far more kindly. There is something plainly hopeful about a lawn coming back — thin one week, thick and deep the next — and watching a customer's yard make that turn is the good part of April.
