Green Shield Lawn and Pest

About Green Shield Lawn and Pest

Late August evenings around Pilot Point cool off just enough for the turf to breathe again, and that is a good hour to walk a lawn and see what it is telling you. Green Shield Lawn and Pest reads a yard before cutting it: where the Bermuda has gone thin from heat, where weeds have found an opening along the drive, where the mower height needs to come up a notch. Then comes the mowing, the edge line, the trimming, and the weeds pulled or treated out of the turf so the grass has the room it wants. A lawn kept this way holds its color further into the fall than a lawn merely shortened every week. Out here where summers are long and honest, that difference shows.
