The GreenCare Company

About The GreenCare Company

For a few weeks each April the ditches out of Pilot Point fill with bluebonnets and paintbrush, and part of good lawn work is knowing what to leave alone until they finish. The GreenCare Company treats a yard as something living rather than something to be shortened: mow at a height that keeps roots shaded, edge where a real line belongs, trim close without shaving the crown off the grass. Clippings get blown back onto the turf where they can do some good and off the concrete where they cannot. It is unhurried work, and it shows up later as a lawn that takes the summer better than its neighbors. Green is easy in spring here; keeping it is the craft.
