About De La Cruz Tree Service

Pilot Point took its name from a stand of timber travelers could pick out from far across the prairie, a green mark to steer toward. The country still reads that way — white board fences, horse pastures rolling north toward Lake Ray Roberts, cross timbers oaks holding the fence rows in place. De La Cruz Tree Service works those trees, lifting pasture oaks so a mower and a horse can pass beneath, pruning yard trees around the old square, removing what lightning or a long decline has taken out of the run. North Texas storms hit fast and sideways in spring, and afterward the crew cuts the downed wood, drags it clear of the pasture and carries it off the place. An open fence line and a shade tree still worth steering by: that is the finished job.
