About Courtney Yard

First light along the Pecos River picks out the cottonwoods well before it reaches the streets, and that is when the mowers roll. Courtney Yard runs lawn care in and around town: cutting, trimming to the posts and the fence wire, edging until the sidewalk carries a hard green shoulder. Bed weeding keeps goathead and careless weed from setting up shop, and cleanups clear the drift out of the corners. Cuttings get collected instead of scattered, because a swept drive is half of what anybody actually notices. It is simple, repeatable work, and it makes a place look intentional.
