Integrity Lawns

About Integrity Lawns

An August storm rolls up off the Gulf in the afternoon, drums on Pecan Grove for twenty minutes, and leaves the whole place steaming and greener than it was. Integrity Lawns works the days after, when the grass has taken that rain and grown an inch overnight and every lawn on the block needs catching up. Mowing, trimming around posts and mailboxes, edging the walks, carrying off the clippings — the routine is the same each visit, which is exactly the point of it. The satisfaction lives in the before and after: shaggy at nine, squared away by noon, lines running true to the curb. Out here where yards run right up against one another, a well kept lawn is a kind of good manners.
