Rick's Maintenance & More

About Rick's Maintenance & More

Pearland sits low and flat on the coastal prairie, close enough to the Gulf that the air arrives warm and heavy and the grass simply refuses to quit. Rick's Maintenance & More keeps pace with mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, week after week from the first warm spell clear into fall. Along Clear Creek the ground stays soft and the St. Augustine runs thick, which asks for a sharp blade and a considered cutting height. A yard here can go from neat to shaggy in six days, so the calendar matters every bit as much as the machine. The town took its name from pear orchards and grew into a city; the front lawns are where that mix of country and neighborhood still shows.
