5K Land Management

About 5K Land Management

Out in Wise County the sky does most of the talking — big, unbroken, with a wind that moves over mesquite and open pasture — and the lots around Paradise run large enough that you can hear a mower from half a mile off. 5K Land Management works at that scale: mowing wide, trimming around gates, posts and fence lines, edging where a long drive meets the grass. Sandy ground and a hot wind mean this country dries out quickly and greens up all at once after a rain. There is a plain pleasure in watching a wide stretch of grass fall into even rows behind you. Paradise is small and spread out, and a place kept up out here can be read from the road long before you reach the gate.
