The Cut Above

About The Cut Above

Late in a Pantego afternoon the light goes long and low, shadows stretch across the front lawns, and every ridge and stripe in the turf shows up like a relief map. The Cut Above likes that hour, when the mowing lines are plain to see and the edge along the walk either holds or it doesn't. Mowing, trimming and edging, then a blower over the concrete — the order matters, and so does the finish. Bermuda in Tarrant County grows fast enough to punish a skipped week and generous enough to reward a schedule kept. There is nothing quiet about the machines, but the result is: a yard that looks settled at dusk.
