Dale's Turf and Tree

About Dale's Turf and Tree

Trees are not free on the Texas Panhandle. Every cottonwood and elm standing in a Pampa yard is there because somebody planted it, watered it through August and meant for it to shade a house someday. Dale's Turf and Tree looks after both halves of that bargain — mowing, edging and trimming the turf, and tending the trees and shrubs that give the lawn its shade. Grass out here grows in the narrow lane between spring hail and the first hard freeze, so timing matters as much as technique. Done right, a yard in Gray County becomes a small, deliberate grove with a clean green floor underneath it.
