Beast Mowed

About Beast Mowed

By nine in the morning a July yard in Pampa is already ticking with heat, cicadas winding up in the elms and the shimmer coming off the pavement. Beast Mowed works straight into that, cutting Bermuda at a height that holds its color, edging the walks to a line, blowing the clippings off the drive before the truck rolls. The stripes show up as the sun drops west — lines a yard did not have an hour before. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup, in town and out along the country roads. When October cools the grass down the work turns to leaves and last cuts, and the yard goes into winter looking tended.
