SJ Lawn Service

About SJ Lawn Service

August settles over Overton thick as a quilt, cicadas going in the oaks, the pavement giving back heat long past supper. This is old East Texas oil country, where the town blocks run shaded and the lots stretch deep toward the treeline. SJ Lawn Service works those lots on a steady rotation — mowing, trimming around outbuildings and fence posts, edging drives and sidewalks down to a clean line. Cutting in that kind of heat is honest work, and the reward arrives at dusk, when the yard has gone even and dark and the air finally turns. A place kept up looks cared for from the street, and neighbors notice.
