The Magic Mower

About The Magic Mower

There's a moment on a big Onalaska lot when the shaggy half and the finished half sit side by side and the difference is almost theatrical. The Magic Mower lives for that moment — straight passes running out toward the pines, the color shifting light and dark as the blades lay the grass over, the last strip closing the pattern. Then the trimming around the posts and the ac unit, the edge cut along the drive, the blower clearing the concrete until it looks brand new. Nothing mysterious about it, only a good line held all the way across. Pull in at the end of the day and the yard looks like a trick you can't quite see the seam of.
