About C & S Dirt Enterprises

Thunderheads stack up southeast of Onalaska and come over the pines in a hurry, dumping an inch on the county before anyone gets the truck doors shut. C & S Dirt Enterprises knows the day after that storm — the clay holding water in the low corners, the grass shot up an extra inch overnight, the whole yard needing a patient hand rather than a fast one. Mowing once the ground can carry a machine, trimming the swampy edges, cleaning the beds of what the wind stripped down, clearing the walks so nothing tracks inside. East Texas weather arrives all at once and leaves a mess behind it, and putting a place back in order is a good kind of work. By the second dry afternoon the yard looks like the storm never came through at all.
