About The Texas Lawnmen

Summer in Young County is wind and mesquite and a sky with nothing standing in its way, and Olney lawns take that sun all day long. The Texas Lawnmen mow, trim and edge straight through the heat, clearing clippings and keeping the fence lines from swallowing the yard. Out on this prairie a lawn is a deliberate green square held against hard, dry country, and holding it is the job. Late in the afternoon, with the mower shut off and the whole yard cut to one height, the wind does the rest. Olney, Newcastle and Megargel see the truck most weeks.
