About JL Tree Service

Old River-Winfree spreads out across Chambers County coastal prairie, where the Trinity bottoms hang Spanish moss on the live oaks and the marsh light comes off the bay at the end of the day. Wind is a constant out here and hurricanes are a season, so trees grow leaning and go hollow long before anyone notices. JL Tree Service handles what that produces: removing the water oak that split in the last blow, trimming limbs back from a roof and a drive, pruning young shade so it grows into a shape that can take the next one. When a storm comes up the ship channel and buries a yard, the crew cuts through the tangle and carries the wood off the property instead of piling it at the ditch. Standing in a cleared yard with the moss moving again in the salt breeze is the good part.
