About Lawn Wranglers

Out here the mesquite is the calendar — it keeps its leaves folded away until the last cold snap has truly quit, and the week it finally goes green, the mowing season is open. Lawn Wranglers takes that cue and gets after the spring yards of Odessa, when the wind is still throwing grit down every street and the bermuda is just waking up under it. Mowing, edging, trimming the ragged corners, cutting hedges back into line, and hauling off the winter's worth of blown-in litter that collects against a fence. There's a moment right after the first good cut when a yard suddenly looks like somebody lives there on purpose. Chasing that moment, house to house, is most of the job.
