Lawn worx

About Lawn worx

A Basin thunderhead will stack up over the flat all afternoon, let go for twenty hard minutes, and be gone before the barditches along I-20 have finished running. What follows is the thing every Odessa yard does after rain: a month of growth crammed into a week. Lawn worx shows up for that stretch — mowing down the overgrowth, edging the walks back out from under it, trimming the weeds that came up in the gravel, and blowing the whole place clean again. Wet clippings are heavier work than dry ones, and the difference between a yard cut and a yard rescued is mostly in how much a crew is willing to sweat. When it's done the street smells green for an hour, which almost never happens out here.
