The Lawn Company

About The Lawn Company

Downtown Odessa keeps a giant jackrabbit with antlers standing at attention, which tells you the town has never minded a little plain-spoken confidence. The Lawn Company works in that spirit: no complications, just yards mowed on schedule, walks and drives edged, fence lines and mailbox posts trimmed, and every surface blown clean before the truck pulls away. Midweek, midsummer, with heat shimmering off the pavement, the work goes on anyway because grass in the Basin doesn't wait for pleasant conditions. What the crew leaves behind is even height, a sharp border, and nothing scattered across the concrete. Doing an ordinary thing carefully, again and again, is most of what a good lawn actually is.
