Texas Curb Appeal

About Texas Curb Appeal

There is a moment in late afternoon when the sun drops behind the rooflines off Davis Boulevard and every edge in a yard throws its own shadow. That is the hour Texas Curb Appeal is working toward — turf meeting concrete on a line straight as a chalk snap, the strip along the curb trimmed so the grass stops exactly where it ought to, the walk blown clean. In April the bermuda comes back fast across North Richland Hills, greening up from the crown, and a yard whose edges are kept looks twice as awake as the one next door. The work is mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup, done in the order that makes a house look finished from the street. Drive the block afterward and the whole street reads sharper.
