Cut & Clear

About Cut & Clear

Navasota wakes early — the crossing bell downtown, a train easing past the brick storefronts on Washington Avenue before the coffee has finished pouring. Cut & Clear keeps that same hour, mowing and edging while the light is still low and slanting long across Grimes County. The work is plain and it shows: a straight edge along the walk, grass off the drive, clippings blown back into the turf instead of down the gutter. By the time the sidewalks warm, the yard looks like someone paid attention to it. That is the whole idea behind a mowing route in a town this size — you drive past your own work all week.
