Pineywoods Fertilizing & Weed Control

About Pineywoods Fertilizing & Weed Control

Nacogdoches calls itself the Garden Capital of Texas, and in March, when the azaleas burst open along the old brick streets, it is easy to see why. Pineywoods Fertilizing & Weed Control works on the ground beneath all that color, feeding lawns and keeping weeds from crowding in under the tall East Texas pines. Acidic sandy soil and deep shade make turf here a little more stubborn than it lets on, and steady feeding is how a lawn holds its own. When the timing is right, a yard comes up thick and even just as the town fills with springtime visitors. Green from edge to edge is the result, and it is a lovely one.
