About Barrera Bros LLC

In August the Valley gets its work done early or not at all, and by six in the morning the mowers are already moving through Murillo while the air is still bearable. Barrera Bros LLC keeps those rounds — cutting the St. Augustine at the right height for the heat, edging drives and sidewalks, trimming around palms, posts and fence lines, and blowing the walks clean before the sun turns serious. Down here in Hidalgo County the grass never really stops, so the season is the whole year and the routine is everything. There is genuine pride in a Valley yard done properly: thick, even, sharply bordered, holding its green through a month that punishes everything else. By afternoon the heat owns the street again, but the lawn stands up to it.
