D&R Lawn Care

About D&R Lawn Care

By late July the heat coming off the pavement along Loop 271 shimmers before ten in the morning, so the trailer rolls early. D&R Lawn Care runs a mowing route through the Mount Pleasant neighborhoods, cutting, edging, trimming and moving on to the next street before the day turns mean. Bermuda takes the sun better than most grasses, and kept at the right height it stays green through the worst of August. Beds get weeded, hedges get squared, and the driveway is blown off so nothing tracks inside. It is week-in, week-out work, and the payoff is a street where every third yard looks freshly done on a Thursday afternoon.
