About Scheler Landscaping

Head west out of Montgomery on FM 1097 and the lots open up — an acre, then two, fence lines running off toward a stand of pines, a horse or two in the far corner. Scheler Landscaping mows that kind of ground as readily as a quarter-acre in town: wide overlapping passes across the open, then close, careful work around everything that stands up out of it. String trimming follows the fence wire, the gate posts and the culvert pipe at the end of the drive, while edging brings a hard line back to the gravel or the concrete. In May the grass comes on so strong that a skipped week shows from the road, so the routes hold steady. Out here a mown place reads from a long way off, and that is most of the point.
