About Protex Landscaping LLC

Montgomery's pines shed hardest in November, laying a rust-colored mat over everything — lawns, walks, the hood of the truck if it sits still long enough. Protex Landscaping LLC spends that stretch raking and blowing needles and oak leaves out of the grass so it can breathe, then hauling off what comes up. Mowing continues on the mild weeks, with edging and string trimming keeping the borders honest while growth is slow. When the routes turn weekly again in spring, the lawns that were cleaned out are the ones that green up first and evenest. It is a plain kind of pride: a yard in Montgomery County that looks swept, in a place where the trees never quite stop dropping something.
