Yard Smart

About Yard Smart

July on the mile roads: caliche dust hanging over the shoulder, the sun hard by nine, shade gone thin under the retama. Yard Smart plans the day around that heat, hitting Mission lawns early and moving with purpose — grass cut before the blades go stressed, edges run straight down the drive, trimmer work tucked in around posts and A/C pads. Clippings come out of the beds, the walk gets blown down, and nothing is left for the wind to scatter. Later, when the yard sits still under the afternoon glare, the mow lines still hold. That is the whole point: a lawn that looks tended even in the worst of the Valley summer.
