About Rescue Roots LLC

By the tail of an Ellis County summer a neglected lawn can look finished — thin, straw-colored, the black clay opening in cracks wide enough to lose a key in. Rescue Roots LLC takes those yards on, cutting back the overgrowth, clearing thatch and debris, and mowing at a height that lets the grass shade its own ground while it recovers. Weeds come out of the beds, borders get re-cut, and the whole property goes onto a regular schedule so it never slides that far again. Bermuda is stubborn in the right way; give it water, a steady cut and a little time, and it will run back across the bare spots on its own. Watching a written-off lawn knit itself green again is the best part of the job.
