AHM Landscaping and Construction

About AHM Landscaping and Construction

Midlothian is built on blackland clay — soil that turns to gumbo in a March rain and cracks like old pottery by the end of August. AHM Landscaping and Construction works with that ground instead of against it, keeping lawns mowed, edged and trimmed through the long growing season and shaping the beds, borders and grading that give a property its bones. There is real satisfaction in a bed line cut clean into black earth, the mulch dark and level, the turf held exactly where it ought to stop. Walks and drives get blown clear at the end, so the finished shape of the yard is the only thing left to look at. From the ridge streets of town out toward Ovilla and Waxahachie, the work shows up as yards that look deliberate.
