About Care Free Landscapes

The finest hour in Midland is the one just after the wind quits, sun dropping orange behind the pumpjacks west of town, heat lifting off the driveway, a freshly cut lawn holding the last of the light. Care Free Landscapes builds toward that hour: cut the grass, run the borders, trim the corners, clear the concrete, then quiet. Landscape work in the Permian Basin means picking lines and plants that can take a hundred-degree June and a January norther in the same twelve months. Beds get shaped, shrubs get cut back, turf stays even, walks stay clear. The idea in the name is simple enough, that the yard should be somebody else's chore, and the crew keeps it by doing the fussing themselves.
