Paradise Lawns of Texas

About Paradise Lawns of Texas

Come the middle of June the crape myrtles all over Mesquite go off at once — watermelon pink, white, deep red — and the yards down toward Valley Creek take on a color you only get in Texas. Paradise Lawns of Texas builds its weeks around that stretch, when Bermuda grows hard and a lawn can look like a lawn if somebody keeps after it. The cut stays even, the mower turns clean at the beds, and no blossom litter is left mashed into the turf. Edges are run tight along the curb and the walk, the trimmer takes the tree rings, and everything gets blown back onto the grass where it belongs. A yard that green, that short, that squared off at the borders is worth the heat it takes.
