Contreras' Lawn Care

About Contreras' Lawn Care

Morning in Mercedes comes in warm and already loud — kiskadees arguing in the palms, a green jay somewhere out in the citrus, dew heavy on St. Augustine that never truly stopped growing. Contreras' Lawn Care starts early for exactly that reason, because the Valley hands out almost twelve months of growing season and a lawn will get away from you in a week. Mowing, edging along walks and drives, trimming around palms, posts and fences, then blowing the cuttings back off the concrete: the same rounds, done right. Out past town the grapefruit rows run to the horizon, and there is a rhythm down here to keeping green things in their proper shape. A Mercedes yard cut on time holds its line all week.
