Weedex Lawn Care

About Weedex Lawn Care

February lawns in McKinney lie tan and low, dormant and honest, and that is exactly when the year gets decided. Weedex Lawn Care puts the early treatments down then — pre-emergent and weed control, fertilization timed to the turf's own clock — so the green that comes up in March comes up clean. East of town the East Fork of the Trinity runs cold under bare pecans and the wild acres at the Heard sanctuary take their winter; a tended lawn is a smaller kind of order, but it is order all the same. Through the growing season they keep after whatever loves this clay: dallisgrass in the low spots, clover in the thin ones, grassburs anywhere the turf gives up ground. Handing back a yard that is one grass, evenly colored, edge to edge, is the reward waiting at the end of the whole calendar.
