About Spruce Lawn Care of McKinney

By October the light on McKinney's downtown square runs long and gold down the brick storefronts, about the time the day's last mower goes quiet. Spruce Lawn Care of McKinney keeps the yards in the old streets ringing the courthouse blocks, where pecans drop over deep front lawns and St. Augustine thins beneath the canopy near Chestnut Square. The rounds are ordinary ones — mowing, edging, shrub and hedge trimming, leaf removal, seasonal cleanups — and they are what make an old street look tended rather than merely old. Autumn here is slow and generous: the grass keeps growing well past the first cool snap before it finally rests. There is pride in handing a homeowner back a yard with the beds crisp, the walks blown clear, and nothing left to do but sit out on the porch.
