About Green-Grounds

At Towne Lake Park in October the water goes pewter, the pecans start letting go, and every lawn in McKinney picks up a second job. Green-Grounds takes the ground half of its name seriously — what a yard looks like begins under the surface, in black clay that swells and cracks and grows a stubborn turf anyway. Mowing on a set cadence, edging along walks and beds, trimming where a mower cannot reach, cleanup that leaves the pavement bare. In fall that widens into leaf work, carrying off what the season drops so the grass can breathe into winter. It is a plain arrangement, and it keeps a whole block looking looked-after.
