About Roberto's Backhoe Service, Inc.

West of McCamey the ridge splits open at Castle Gap, and the ground on either side of it is caliche and rock that will not answer a shovel. Roberto's Backhoe Service, Inc. brings the machine that does — digging, trenching, grading, and clearing brush and stumps off a lot until the ground is level enough to build on or drive across. Lawn work follows the heavy work: mowing and trimming a property once it has been opened up, keeping cleared ground from going straight back to mesquite. Mornings are best, before the wind gets organized and the dust starts traveling. There is a straightforward pride in leaving a piece of Upton County ground squared, smoothed and ready for whatever comes next.
