Hutto’s Lawn Services

About Hutto’s Lawn Services

Maud sits up in the corner of Texas where the pines begin, and the ground beneath them is red and soft and quick to mark a boot. By late October the loblollies start dropping needles across every lawn in Bowie County, and the hardwoods follow close behind. Hutto's Lawn Services works right through it — mowing while the grass still wants cutting, then raking, blowing and hauling needles and leaves off the turf and out of the beds. Edges along the drive and the walk are run clean so the line shows against all that russet. There is a particular pleasure in a Maud yard swept bare under the pines while the woods go gold at the property line.
