That Mowing Guy

About That Mowing Guy

Saturday morning in Marble Falls sounds like this: kids down at Johnson Park, boat trailers rolling toward the ramp, and somewhere up the street a mower already running. That Mowing Guy is usually the mower. The routine is uncomplicated and it is the same every visit — cut the grass at a height that suits the June heat, edge the sidewalk and the driveway, trim around the mailbox and the flower beds, then blow the walks clean so nothing gets carried onto the porch. Neighbors notice the difference between a lawn that was mowed and a lawn that was finished, even when they can't say exactly what changed. That difference is the job, week after week, one yard at a time.
