About Ralph Maugham Lawn Services

November is the honest month in Marble Falls. The ashe juniper stays stubbornly green, the Spanish oaks along Backbone Ridge go the color of rust, and every gust down off the hills drops another armload of leaves onto lawns that have finally stopped growing in a hurry. Ralph Maugham Lawn Services reads that turn and shifts with it — the last careful cuts of the season, shrubs and hedges shaped back before winter, leaves and fallen limbs gathered up and hauled off instead of raked into a corner to rot. Fence lines get trimmed out, borders get redrawn where summer blurred them, and the yard goes into the cold looking tidy rather than abandoned. Then the frosts come and go, the grass wakes up, and the whole patient cycle starts over again.
