Priority Lawn Care

About Priority Lawn Care

Late in the day the Colorado River spreads out into Lake Marble Falls and goes the color of hammered tin, and the yards up the slope from it hold their heat long after the sun drops behind the ridge. Priority Lawn Care works into that hour, when the cicadas wind down and the air finally moves. Hill Country July asks a great deal of a lawn — Bermuda running hard in the open, St. Augustine sulking under a live oak — so the answer is steadiness rather than showmanship: a cut on schedule, trimming tight around mailbox pipe and fence line, an even border where turf meets curb, beds cleared of whatever the wind carried in. The reward is small and repeatable, and it comes at the tailgate at dusk, looking back at a yard that reads as cared for. Come cooler weather the rhythm slows but never quite stops, because grass in this country keeps its own calendar.
