About 24 Landscaping

There is nothing between a Manvel sunrise and the eye but coastal prairie, so the day opens as one long line of orange over the fields. 24 Landscaping is out in it early — mowing while the dew is still down, edging walks and driveways, trimming around posts, mailboxes and bed borders, and blowing the hard surfaces clean. Out here the grass runs from February clear into December, and a yard left alone for three weeks in June is a different yard entirely. Staying ahead of it is the whole art. When the last pass lays its stripe down and the walks are clear, a property on a flat prairie lot can look every bit as composed as one with a hill to lean on.
