About Wes's Landscaping Service's

A January morning here can come up blue and hard-edged, the north wind sliding down off Joe Pool Lake, the Bermuda gone straw-gold and every branch showing its shape. Wes's Landscaping Service's likes that clarity — it is the season for cutting shrubs back, clearing beds down to bare mulch, and carrying off the leaf drop that spent all fall hiding under the hedges. Then spring arrives on Texas time, early and all at once, and the week turns to mowing, edging, string trimming and leaving walks and drives clear behind the crew. Nothing showy in any of it; only a yard that keeps looking cared for whether anyone is watching in February or August. Mansfield anchors the map, along with Midlothian, Cedar Hill and Grand Prairie.
