Vallejo's Lawn Service

About Vallejo's Lawn Service

By seven on a July evening Lufkin cools maybe two degrees, the cicadas wind up in the pines, and the St. Augustine finally stops feeling the sun on its back. Vallejo's Lawn Service knows this grass — how it runs, where it thins under shade, how high to leave it so it can hold its own against the weeds and the heat. The route moves through the neighborhoods with mowing, edging, trimming and a full clearing of the walks and drives, steady from spring through the long tail of fall. Hedges get shaped, beds get pulled clean, and the clippings ride away with the truck. A lawn cut right on a summer evening is a small good thing on a street full of them.
