About MTZ Professional Tree Services

Spring arrives in Angelina County all at once — dogwood white in the understory, redbud along the fence rows, and pines pushing new candles over every roof in Lufkin. MTZ Professional Tree Services spends that season getting ahead of it, trimming branches already scraping shingles, pruning young shade trees into a frame they can hold for decades, removing the ones that will not survive the next hard blow off Sam Rayburn. Taking a tree out of close quarters is patient work here: one section at a time, ropes doing what a bucket cannot reach. Storms come up out of the southwest with almost no warning, and the morning after is saws and rakes and a driveway open again before lunch. The measure of a finished day is a yard that looks looked-after rather than worked-on.
