Mowstly Lawn Care

About Mowstly Lawn Care

Saturday morning on a Lufkin side street: crape myrtles shedding pink confetti onto the sidewalk, a radio going through somebody's kitchen window, and the drone of a mower two houses down. Mowstly Lawn Care is that drone. They cut, edge along the walk, run the string trimmer down the fence line and around the mailbox post, and clear the clippings off the concrete until the drive is dark and clean again. The name is a joke about mowing and it is also the honest truth — mostly mowing, on a rhythm, week after week through the long green Texas growing season. A lawn kept on schedule never has a bad week, and that is the entire idea behind it.
